Motivation for deferred giving varies immensely between people. You may choose to pass along heart-felt values or to acknowledge how Collin County Community College District students benefit the community. Whatever your reason, a planned gift assures the continuation of quality education while it fulfills your long-term charitable and financial goals.

We realize that, as you consider a planned gift to the Collin College Foundation, you must balance your family's needs, your personal lifestyle, and your financial resources with your love for Collin and your wish to contribute to its preeminence.

Keeping this balance requires careful planning, and the Collin College Foundation Office stands ready to help you make the most informed decision possible.

Planned giving provides you with the options and opportunities to include support of Collin in your overall financial and estate plans. Planned gifts are generally gifts or commitments made in the present with the benefit to Collin "deferred" until a future date. However, planned gifts may include outright gifts of appreciated property (securities and real estate) or gifts of tangible personal property.

To-date, we have received over $2.5 million in pledges of planned gifts.
