Endowed Scholarship
Program
Memorialize a friend,
family member or community corporate partner with a gift of education to a
student – perhaps an aspiring nurse, accountant, dental hygienist or
emergency medical technician. A $20,000 donation endows a permanent
fund in the field you prefer. The earnings from the endowment provide a
scholarship for one student each year
to assist with tuition, fees, books and related educational
expenses.
Program Enhancements
Provide funds directly
to the academic department you
choose.
You may support a division’s existing
Excellence Fund with a gift of any amount or initiate a new Excellence Fund
with a gift of $2,500 or more. For example, The Collin County Healthcare
Foundation funded the purchase of a Mobile Intensive
Care Unit so emergency medical service students could have “real world”
training.

Endowed Faculty Chair
Support the
unparalleled excellence of Collin faculty by endowing a chair. At the heart
of our exceptional education are some of the most accomplished educators in
the state. To help the
college continue to attract and retain the best faculty,
the Collin College Foundation offers the opportunity to establish endowed chairs.
Join those who recognize and reward outstanding faculty members. The
Foundation also promotes the creation of faculty chair "Scholarships" that
allow faculty to be honored and students to benefit from scholarships
simultaneously with the same endowment fund.
If you are interested in endowing a
chair, please call the Foundation Office at 972.599.3145.

Facility Naming
Become a permanent part
of the college community by underwriting the expansion of the district’s
facilities. A major donation to the building fund creates a permanent legacy
of community leadership, philanthropy and vision. Name an entire building or
a wing. Each donation opportunity is considered a unique partnership.
Some of the current opportunities include:
- the new library facility
at the Preston Ridge Campus, which serves district students
and the surrounding community;
- the
conference center on the Spring Creek Campus;
- expanded health care
facilities on the Central Park Campus;
- other buildings
now on the drawing board, including a new administration building.
For more information or other naming
opportunities, contact Mary Frazier, Executive
Director of the Collin College Foundation, Telephone 972.599.3145, or E-Mail:
mfrazier@ccccd.edu.
