Since its inception, Collin County Community College District has been committed to providing academic excellence in higher education. We continue to receive national acclaim for our award-winning professors, student accomplishments and innovative academic programs.

More than half of our students transfer to a four-year university. The others directly enter the workforce. We prepare tomorrow’s nurses, firefighters, law enforcement professionals, technical professionals, educators and more. We also accommodate lifelong learners. About 20 percent of our students hold degrees and return to enhance their education, update technical knowledge or gain new skills for career advancement.

Collin is an integral part of the community. Collin serves more than 40,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs. The only public college in the country, Collin is a partner to business, government and industry, providing customized training and work force development.
